Lighting is an integral component of both architecture and interior design. To design relevant luminous environments, it is not sufficient to state vague objectives such as "create a mood" and it is counter-productive to oversimplify objectives in purely numerical values, such as "deliver 70 footcandles at 30 inches above the floor". The key to creating exceptional luminous environments is using a "qualitative" approach to lighting design.
Radiant Lighting Design was formed in 1999 to fill the need of architects and designers seeking more than just "appropriate footcandle levels". Sensitive to form and space, aware of subtle moods and sensations, we work with designers to create truly notable spaces.
Radiant Lighting Design boasts a unique combination of style, international knowledge, and innovative experience of architectural lighting. The firm is dedicated exclusively to architectural lighting design. Daylight and artificial lighting are integrated in a wide range of projects such as commercial, retail, financial, educational, sport related, hotels, residential and others.
Starting at concept phase through end of construction, the creative team of Radiant Lighting Design works to come up with the most appropriate lighting solution for the project, always having in mind viability, sustainability, quality, cost and maintenance. And, never forgetting the objectives of the customers as well as the human experience through the space and its comfort, as ultimately a good lighting approach compliments and can enhance the architectural project.
